I translate from French and Italian into English, working on a broad range of fiction, literary non-fiction and academic writing.  I was longlisted for the International Booker Prize for my co-translation of Emmanuelle Pagano's Trysting. My most recent translation is The Tower of Love by Rachilde, for Wakefield Press. I am also an experienced copy editor, and provide translation samples and reader reports for a number of UK publishers.
